Tolerance Hypocrisy
The buzz word these days is "tolerance". Basically what everyone takes it to mean is "what I say or am has to be accepted by others" but the other shoe dropping says "and what YOU believe doesn't matter and is WRONG because it conflicts with me". So, basically, if a person doesn't agree with what I do or say and they stand firm with their beliefs which conflict with my beliefs, then those people are intolerant? NO that isn't true. Intolerance is where a person actively projects their beliefs and desires onto another and intervenes in that other person's life. You know, kind of like trying to stroll into people's private relationships and bedrooms and tell people they can't sleep together because their choices don't prescribe to an acceptable set of beliefs by the person doing the judging. Let's be direct and get down to it. People have the right to be anything they want to be -- gay, straight, left, right, charitable or
